The Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc held on Wednesday the Lebanese government responsible of ensuring the compensations to the people damaged during the Israeli July 2006 war against Lebanon in the South and Bekaa, stressing that the whole dossier should be fully closed as soon as possible.

In a statement it released following its regular meeting, the bloc denounced the Israeli latest violation of Lebanese sovereignty through kidnapping – from Lebanese territory - interrogating, torturing and then releasing two Lebanese citizens. It said that Israel was still threatening the security situation and obstructing the political life of Lebanon. It explained that Zionists were still launching assaults against the country at a regular basis, the invaders are still rejecting the of withdrawing from the Lebanese part of the Ghajar village and occupying the Lebanese Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba hills, they are also violating the Lebanese airspace in a daily basis.

The Resistance bloc's statement noted that the Israeli conduct was alarming of dangerous aftermaths, calling on the international community to assume its responsibility. The bloc stressed that the Zionist enemy must end its occupation to the Lebanese land with no conditions, reiterating that there was no justification for engaging in negotiations with the enemy.

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc said that the Russian announcement about a donation to the Lebanese Army would collaborate in strengthening the complementarity between the Army and the Resistance to protect the country and safeguard its sovereignty.

Meanwhile, the bloc expressed its satisfaction with the positive and practical path adopted by Lebanon and Syria in the framework of executing the decision to establish diplomatic relation between the two neighbor countries.

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc also reiterated its complete denunciation of the Israeli inhumane siege against the Gaza Strip, expressing complete solidarity with the Palestinian people who refuse to surrender to the enemy's conditions. It renewed its invitation for all Arabs and Muslims to act in order to break the siege, warning against any potential attack on besieged Gaza, recalling that the Palestinian cause was the nation's central one.
