Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad has harshly condemned Friday's Nato attack on Waziristan and demanded of COAS to take notice and give ample reply of this attack which was made after the COAS's warning to Washington.

Qazi was delivering Friday sermon at Mansoorah mosque, says a press release by JI Media Cell. Qazi said if COAS's warning to Washington was not rhetoric, than it is time such an attack should be amply retaliated. He said for defending the national boundaries it is necessary that army should stop fighting against its own nation and entire foreign policy including war on terror should be debated and reviewed in the joint session of the parliament.

Qazi demanded of president Zardari to visit China before UK, adding that relations with China should be promoted to counter the American aggression. He said all political and religious parties should rise above their differences to join hands for combating American threat. He stressed that unity between army and people is a prerequisite for achieving this objective, adding that JI do not want war with America but defending national security and sovereignty should be our foremost duty.

Qazi criticized the criminal silence of ANP leadership over the bloodshed of Pakhtoons despite claiming to be champion of Pakhtoons' rights, and termed it a deception against the Pakhtoon nation. He said ANP leadership had been playing the trumpets of friendships with India and then Soviet Union in the past, but now it is acting as American stooge against its own race.

Qazi expressed sorrow that country is being run by a club of Generals, feudals, capitalists and bureaucrats, who are all slave to Washington.
